Dr. Macintyre has more than 20 years of service and experience in sports medicine. He has served as a team physician for many national and professional teams, including ReAL Salt Lake, U.S. Speedskating, and U.S. Ski and Snowboard Teams. He has provided medical coverage for major international games and World Championships. He has also worked extensively with dancers, and has taught in the Ballet Department at the University of Utah.
Dr. Macintyre has a special interest in overuse/overtraining injuries and tendon disorders, and offers the latest in treatment of tendon disorders with Extra Corporeal Shock Wave Therapy. He provides comprehensive rehabilitation in conjunction with his Certified Athletic Trainer.
